1. Acceptance of Agreement
By registering for or using the SimpleKhata website and mobile application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your access to the accounting, inventory, and reporting services provided by SimpleKhata. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
2. User Accounts and Security
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username and password).
- Ensuring that all activity occurring under your account complies with these Terms.
- Immediately notifying SimpleKhata of any unauthorized use or security breach related to your account.
3. Subscription, Billing, and Renewals
SimpleKhata operates on a subscription-based model as detailed in our pricing section:
- Daily Rate: Pricing is calculated based on a daily rate (e.g., ₹36) but is billed as a one-time annual payment.
- Non-Refundable: Due to the digital nature of the services, subscription payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
- Trial Access: If a trial period is provided, your account will be limited or suspended after the trial expires unless a valid subscription is purchased.
- Taxes: All listed prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4. Proper Use of Service
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Using the service for any illegal or fraudulent activities.
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the platform.
- Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without prior authorization.
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the software and servers.
5. Intellectual Property and Data Ownership
Your Data: You retain all rights and ownership of the data you input into SimpleKhata. We do not claim any ownership over your business records.
Our Software: SimpleKhata, including its logo, design, code, and original content, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains our exclusive property.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleKhata shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the last 12 months.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for failure to pay subscription fees. Upon termination, your right to access the service will immediately cease, though you may request a window to export your data.
8. Modifications to Service and Terms
We may update the platform features or these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the service after such changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
